BRAIN AGE vs. BRAIN POWER
Nintendo deserves much credit for bringing added attention to brain
exercise with their Brain Age and Big Brain Academy. However, as the
senior member of the brain exercise community, MyBrainTrainer believes we
have superior ability to provide you with an accurate evaluation of your
Brain Power. In fact, our short computerized tests have been performed
more than five million times by our worldwide membership of all ages. This
is far more data than Nintendo utilized to determine its Brain Ages, and in
this business, more data means more accurate scoring and ranking.
Here's how this evaluation of your brain power will work. You will be asked to perform our test 3 times in succession. Each performance (which we call a "run") will take you approximately 2 minutes. The reason we want 3 runs is to make certain that you understand and are comfortable with the required keystrokes. The first 2 runs are for practice. The third run is the one that counts.
You will not receive a score for your two practice runs. You will however
receive a score for your test (third) run. This score will reflect your
accuracy, speed of response, and your concentration. At the completion of
your third run, you will not only see your score, but you will also see:
- your Absolute Brain Power, which is your percentile ranking among all members on their third run
- your Relative Brain Power, which is your percentile ranking among all members of your age on their third run
- the average score on the 3rd run for all members in our database
- the average score on the 3rd run for all members of your age in our database
- the highest score ever achieved by one of our members on the third run
- the highest score ever achieved by one of our members of your age on the third run
- the highest score ever achieved by one of our members on any run
- the highest score ever achieved by one of our members of your age on any run
Lastly, for good measure, we'll also show you the age to which your score most closely relates so you can compare (if you wish) to your Brain Age according to Nintendo.
Good luck!
